Info and specs
GLACIER #G - Intense Light
The sun emits visible and invisible electromagnetic waves. The most harmful invisible rays are ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are dangerous even in cloudy weather as no more than 10% are absorbed by clouds.
Cat. 4 sunglass lenses, VLT 6%
The Glacier protects eyes from intense light thanks to their 100% UV, category 4 brown lenses designed to offer optimum contrast in mountain settings. NB: For safety reasons, category 4 lenses must not be worn while driving.
Removable side shields
The coated cotton side shields offer maximum protection from wind,
cold and intense light on the peaks. These can be removed should the light dim.
Hooked arms
Hooked arms designed with an anti-slip coating ensure glasses stay on even in extreme conditions.
The GLACIER frames are made with our castor oil-based biosourced material, G850.
